THIS IS A SUNDAY EVENT!
Geez, remember Dunnellon? We haven't been there since June! And it will be a welcome change of pace from the parking lot of Lakeland, and the smaller courses of Venice. Yes, there will be a proper slalom!
FAST CLASSIC events are smaller and more casual events, which allows drivers to enjoy more runs (usually around 6-8) without any pressure. You'll get more seat time because we won't spend time doing a novice-level driver's meeting or a novice walk. Otherwise, it will be the same great FAST experience, including the World Famous FAST Lunch, and we'll be done by 3-4pm! These events are not included for points in the FAST Season Championship.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES: We are required to have an official escort to cross the active runway. You WILL NOT be able to come and go as you please, even at the end of the event. We must wait for the truck with the flashing lights and radio to escort us safely across that runway!
DIRECTIONS TO SITE: Turn North off of CR-484 onto SW 147th Ct. take it all the way back (1 mile) and follow it around the curves to the left. Gather and wait at the stop sign. We must enter as a group, so be on-time and be patient. Regular airport traffic may be coming and going, so please don't block the road!
IMPORTANT: Part of what makes these events work is the fact that we mostly limit them to experienced autocrossers. First timers and those with less than 5 autocross events are allowed in VERY limited numbers. There will be little focus on novice instruction, no formal novice walk, just good old-fashioned autocross with folks who know how to autocross.

Novice Driver Registration - $60.00 (limited to 6)
Beginner Driver Registration - $70.00 (limited to 2)
